Apra-NW is pleased to announce Andillon Hackney, Director of Prospect Research at UC San Diego, as our 2018 Keynote Speaker
Join Andillon Hackney for The Big Payoff: Strategy Sessions for Development Officers. In 2012, UC San Diego embarked on regular prospect strategy meetings and ever since has created a culture where teams across Advancement regularly discuss prospects and plans.
The Big Payoff? Increase funding year over year from these same prospects. This session will discuss how development officers can collaborate, types of strategy meetings, tools and processes, and communication tips and tricks and what you will need to start changing the culture now!
Andillon Hackney is the Director of Prospect Research at UC San Diego. Andillon was the Sr. Research Coordinator at CHOC Children’s Hospital and before that the Prospect Researcher for The Los Angeles County Natural History Museum. Andillon is a graduate of UC Santa Cruz and holds an MFA from Art Center College of Design. She has served on the CARA Board as Volunteer and Mentor Chair, Treasurer and President (2009-2015). She was also on the APRA 2014 Curriculum Conference Committee, APRA 2016 APRA Talks Committee and served as the 2017 APRA Conference Chair.

Parking is available in the Schnitzer Lot and in the CLSB Garage. Parking in the Schnitzer Lot is $12/day and you can pay via pay station. Parking in the CLSB Garage is $22/day and you pay as your exit. Map is available here.
