Prospect Management Strategist

The Prospect Management Strategist is responsible for partnering with frontline fundraisers to build their effectiveness by capturing major gift prospect activity in the prospect management system. The strategist promotes and interprets the Prospect Management policy, provides training and learning programs, advises on frontline metrics goals, and analyzes proposals, contacts, portfolios, and other major gift prospect data to help maximize returns from solicitations for private gifts and grants.
College Relations Database Coordinator

Associate Director of Prospect Development
Walla Walla, WAThe Associate Director of Prospect Development, as a member of the Advancement Services team in Development at Whitman College, is responsible for developing and executing prospect development strategies and managing the prospect development program and staff. In partnership with the Development team’s senior leadership, the Associate Director helps guide fundraising efforts to build a sustainable pipeline of major and planned gift donors to the College.
Prospect Development Manager

The Prospect Development Manager reports to and works closely with the Director of Development Research and Information Strategy to provide strategic intelligence for University Advancement leadership and development officers. Partners with front-line fundraisers to provide prospect identification, analysis and tracking. Interprets and summarizes data from a variety of sources. Utilizing information-informed strategies, provides recommendations for appropriate prospect cultivation. Works with advancement officers to provide specific information regarding donor engagement, philanthropic interests and capacity, and other factors influencing giving potential. The Prospect Development Manager will use data analysis to discover potential opportunities and will participate in data analytic projects to identify new individuals for both specific fundraising needs and for the department at-large.
Director of Prospect Management

Prospect Development is seeking a Director for Prospect Management for the University of Washington. This visible leadership role is active and collaborative across teams in University Advancement (UA) and is responsible for: Helping to ensure positive long-term philanthropic relationships between the university and its largest donors by designing systems that store and share key relationship information Deploying resources in innovative ways to build the effectiveness of frontline fundraisers, thereby maximizing returns from solicitations for private gifts and grants, and Analyzing data trends to drive strategic planning of major gift and principal gift efforts. Reporting to the Senior Director of Prospect Development, this position is responsible for leading the Prospect Management team in partnering with frontline fundraisers at the university, who work with donors on approximately 3,000 requests for major gifts annually. This position promotes policy, practices, reports, and staffing that coordinate those asks, along with designing a data system to track activity surrounding the asks.
Prospect Researcher II
The Prospect Researcher role is part of the Advancement Services (AS) team and reports directly to the Director of Prospect Management and Research. The AS team manages and analyzes an extensive donor/prospect database with 500,000 constituent and prospect records. AS helps maintain and strengthen the Philanthropy infrastructure while stressing the importance of quality data collection, centralized acknowledgement and gift handling, outstanding prospect management and research, valuable analytics and reporting, innovative software integration, campaign readiness, and database administration and integrity.
This position contributes to the maintenance and growth of sound prospect management and research best practices. These practices lead to accountability, close coordination, and strategic management of prospects through the development cycle. This position helps ensure the timely collection and maintenance of prospect data, in order to meet the needs of a campaign and frontline fundraisers for a steady stream of prospects and analysis of growth opportunities. The Prospect Researcher manages his or her own workload, assists the director, and contributes to the growth of the Prospect Management and Research Team.
