Prospect Analyst

The Prospect Analyst (analyst) identifies potential donors and aids in determining their philanthropic interests and networks, as well as their affinity for and ability to support the University of Oregon. Using a variety of empirical methods, the analyst collects qualitative and quantitative data to better understand university alumni, parents and friends. The analyst designs research studies and projects, analyzes data, and presents findings in a narrative or schematic form. This position uses both internal and external data, making use of free and subscription-based public information from reputable sources.

Director of Prospect Research

Seattle Children's, Seattle, WA (Hybrid/In-person)

Responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction for a comprehensive donor prospect research program including prospect research, prospect management, measurement, and analysis. Develops, oversees, and implements systems to deliver proactive, reactive, and special project research. Works collaboratively with Foundation leadership to manage portfolios across team and formulates prospect assignment guidelines to ensure balanced prospect distribution among all fundraisers. Conducts donor prospect research, data analysis and interpretation and provides insight and recommendations to Foundation leadership and front-line fundraisers to inform decision making and to generate donor strategy. Stays up to date on industry trends and best practices and present recommendations to evolve and innovate on our prospect research practices. Leads prospect research team and supervises development research officer(s) and research strategist(s).
